new review of black ops

i was reading quite a few reviews to see what people though of black ops and this was the best review i found ...

Call of Duty: Black Ops is the 7th installment of the very successful Call of Duty series. Having been out for about a month, I have played enough of it to form an opinion about it: It is really a spectacular game.

The single player campaign mode is really thrilling, with levels that take you all around the world. There is so much you can do, from just getting out of your chair and walking around, to shooting a ship with a helicopter. This game mode really makes this game brilliant.

Even more fascinating however is the multiplayer. There are a lot of new features such as the wager matches in which you gamble your online money against other players, and if you place in the top three, you win some of the money back. This game mode is very fun to play, and creates a natural tension because it forces you to play smart, and to play well. It is also very satisfying to take someones money. Within this wager match option, you can play one of four game types: Gun Game, Sharpshooter, Sticks and Stones and finally, One in the Chamber. The best out of these is undoubtedly ‘Gun Game’, because you have to be good with all weapons to win, but it is also the most fun. Also new to the game is a Zombie mode, which I recommend you play in a team, with as a scope to kill as many zombies as you can whilst staying alive and finding amazing guns. Sounds good, eh?

Despite all of these significant changes, a lot of things which have been successful have stayed been kept from the previous COD game. These include the Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search and Destroy and many more.

Treyarch have also added a lot more customization to the multiplayer including a new gun customizing system in which you can chose any camo, and various attachments and perks.

Finally, Treyarch added new killstreaks to the game, of which some I find absolutely amazing. They can range from the spy plane anywhere to the attack dogs which is just a pack of dogs set out to create havoc in the enemy team.

I’m sure we’ve all wished we could have a pack of vicious dogs take down an enemy…
